Brandon Moreno will defend his flyweight title belt against Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 269 on Dec. 11 confirmed a report from ESPN MMA.
Moreno will look for the first defense of his flyweight title in December after putting on a dominant showcase in his last meeting with Figueiredo back in June.
The UFC initially looked into booking Moreno against Brazilian title challenger Alexandre Pantoja. However, Pantoja will not be ready to compete before the end of the year due to a knee injury.
Moreno and Figueiredo in a 12-month span will share the cage for the third consecutive time, their first meeting resulted in a draw. Moreno in a rematch defeated Figueiredo via rear-naked choke submission.
Now Moreno and Figueiredo will run it back one more time at UFC 269 on December 11.
