The Los Angeles Rams pulled away late to clinch a 20-10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday night, causing the Seahawks to rue some wasted opportunities down the stretch.

After both teams struggled to find offence in the first half, the Seahawks finally reached the end zone early in the third quarter on a four-yard rush by DeeJay Dallas.

The Rams quickly levelled the game and needed a spark. Of course, Kupp, having had one of the finest seasons for a receiver in NFL history, stepped up.

Kupp ignited the offence with a 32-yard grab on the team’s first second-half drive and increased their lead to seven early in the fourth quarter with Kupp’s second score.

The Seahawks missed multiple opportunities to reply, with quarterback Russell Wilson missing a long ball to DK Metcalf and a vital fourth-down pass to Dallas being dropped.

Los Angeles kicker Matt Gay then converted a late field goal to hand the Seahawks their ninth loss of the season.

Meanwhile, the Washington football team was unable to capitalise on a strong start to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, falling 27-17.
