In heavy winds in New York on Monday night, the New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills, 14-10

New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones never threw the ball, as the visitors won the AFC East division by relying on their better running attack.

Damien Harris, the Patriots’ only touchdown scorer, started the way for New England with a 64-yard burst through the middle.

He scored 111 yards on 10 carries, while Rhamondre Stevenson got 78 yards on 24 carries.

New England outgained Buffalo 222 to 99 in rushing yards, as Buffalo gambled on a more balanced offensive scheme.

With a passing touchdown, quarterback Josh Allen was able to keep the game close, but his 145 yards through the air proved insufficient.

The win maintains New England’s perfect road record, while the Bills fall to 7-5.
