After scoring 72 touchdowns in Monday night’s 30-10 win over the New York Giants, Mike Evans became the most prolific touchdown scorer in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history

The 28-year-old wide receiver, who has been with Tampa Bay since being chosen seventh overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, set the record when he took a five-yard pass from Tom Brady in the third quarter.

Tampa Bay’s Chris Godwin and Ronald Jones also scored touchdowns, while their team allowed the Giants just 215 yards, as the Bucs went unbeaten in three games.

The victory also moved the Super Bowl winners (7-3) two games ahead of the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South standings.

The Giants have now lost seven of their ten games this season and are in last place in the NFC East, thanks to offensive lineman Anthony Thomas’ lone touchdown at Raymond James Stadium.
