Kemba Walker scored 21 points and RJ Barrett added 20 as the visiting New York Knicks withstood a late rally from the previously unbeaten Chicago Bulls in a 104-103 win on Thursday
When 2:59 remaining, Randle’s shot put the Knicks up 104-91 before Chicago went on a 12-0 run to win the game.
With 9.5 seconds left, Zach LaVine’s dunk put the Bulls within 104-103, after New York’s Julius Randle missed two free throws with 5.1 seconds left, the Bulls had a chance to complete their comeback. As time expired, DeMar DeRozan hit an airball on a midrange jumper, forcing New York to escape.

Zach LaVine scored 17 of his 25 points in the first half for the Bulls, who were seeking their first 5-0 start since the 1995-96 season.

Rudy Gobert had 16 points and 14 rebounds as Utah overcame Houston to keep their winning streak alive.
The Jazz’s balanced offence was highlighted by Bojan Bogdanovic’s 19 points, Jordan Clarkson’s 16 points, and Donovan Mitchell’s 15 points. Seven Utah players scored in the double digits.
The Rockets shot 32.6 percent overall and missed 35 of 44 3-point tries, led by Christian Wood’s 16 points and seven boards.

Bradley Beal had such a season-high 27 points to lead four Wizards players with 20 points or more in the Wizards’ sweep of Atlanta.
Washington defeated for the fourth time in five games thanks to Beal’s 11 of 26 hitting, eight boards, and eight assists. Montrezl Harrell had 25 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists for the Wizards, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Kyle Kuzma each had 21 points and eight rebounds.
Cam Reddish scored 20 minutes off the bench for Atlanta, while John Collins had 28 points and 12 rebounds for his second straight double-double. Trae Young only had 15 points, but he did have 13 assists.

Dallas came from a poor start to defeat San Antonio, with Luka Doncic scoring 25 points and Jalen Brunson adding 19 points off the bench.
In a backup role, Maxi Kleber scored 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Mavericks, who trailed by 20 points in the first quarter before rallying to take the lead five minutes into the second.
Dejounte Murray lead the Spurs with 23 points and 10 rebounds. San Antonio lost its fourth game in a row after winning the season opener. Bryn Forbes added 15 points.

Joel Embiid scored 30 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead host Philadelphia against Detroit, which was 0-4.
Embiid made 8 of 19 shots from the field and 13 of 15 free throws. For the 76ers, Tobias Harris added 17 points and Tyrese Maxey added 16 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
Villanova product Saddiq Bey lead the Pistons in scoring with 19 points, while Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk each had 14 points. Detroit has lost all four games this season and is the only team in the league without a win.
