LA Lakers’s LeBron James and Detroit Pistons centre Isaiah Stewart was ejected during a wild fracas in the Lakers’ 121-116 victory on Sunday

In the second half, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook rescued the Lakers from a 17-point down. Westbrook scored 26 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds, while Davis had 30 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Carmelo Anthony added in with 18 points.

During the third quarter, Stewart had a huge cut near his right eye after being smacked in the face by James while battling for a position on a Jerami Grant free throw. Stewart attempted to pursue James right after, but both benches were cleared.

Before being removed to the locker room, Stewart had to be stopped many times from attacking James and other Lakers. James received a Flagrant Foul 2 penalty.

Cade Cunningham had his first career triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Grant had a season-high 36 points for Detroit. Hamidou Diallo finished with a career-high 17 points.

Clippers defeated the Mavericks by a score of 97 to 91.

The Los Angeles Clippers started a two-game series against the Dallas Mavericks with a 29-point performance from Paul George and a 23-point performance from Reggie Jackson.

For the Clippers, who stopped a two-game losing streak, Jackson hit four 3-pointers and Ivica Zubac had his sixth double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Dallas was led by Kristaps Porzingis, who had 25 points and eight rebounds, and Jalen Brunson, who had 20 points and eight assists.

Suns defeated the Nuggets 126-97.

Phoenix never trailed on route to their 12th straight victory, a thumping of Denver.

 The bulls won by a score of 109 to 103 over the Knicks.

The Chicago Bulls beat the New York Knicks, winning their fourth game in a row. DeMar DeRozan scored 31 points and Zach LaVine added 21.

Coby White (14) and Lonzo Ball (11) each scored 14 points for the Bulls, who shot 42 per cent overall and 11-for-29 (37.9%) from 3-point range. For the Bulls, Javonte Green had nine rebounds.

For the Knicks, who have lost two of their last three games, Julius Randle had 34 points and 10 rebounds. RJ Barrett had nine points and 15 rebounds, while Alec Burks (13 points), Immanuel Quickley (12), and Obi Toppin (10) led the team in scoring.

119 to 104 for the Warriors and the Raptors, respectively.

Andrew Wiggins, a Canadian-born player, scorched the net for six 3-pointers in a 32-point performance for Golden State in a repeat of the 2019 Finals against Toronto.

Jordan Poole topped Wiggins with 33 points for the Warriors, who won their fourth straight despite Stephen Curry’s 12-point performance on 2-for-10 shooting.

The Raptors, who have now lost seven of their past nine games, were led by Pascal Siakam’s 21 points.
