Leeds started the stronger and Ezgjan Alioski hit the side-netting in the fourth minute.

Kane opened the scoring for Spurs on 29 minutes with a penalty, when Alioski fouled Steven Bergwijn on the edge of the area.

Matt Doherty’s late Tackle earned him a second yellow card and he was sent off.

“We created a lot of chances and got a clean sheet, it’s a fantastic start to the new year. I couldn’t wait [to score his 100th goal for Spurs] and I’m very happy and very grateful for my teammates who supported me early on.” Son said after the game.

Leeds threatened throughout, but failed to score in an away match for the first time this season.
