Man Utd’s unlikely hero, Fred, curled into the top-left corner from the edge of the box three minutes later to raise Man Utd to sixth position, three points behind fourth-placed West Ham.

Crystal Palace has been relegated to 12th place with 16 points after a third straight defeat, With the win, the Reds have moved up to sixth in the Premier League table.
