According to rumours, Spanish international Ferran Torres is likely to join Barcelona in the coming days after passing a medical.

Torres has fallen out of favour at Manchester City, appearing only seven times this season and frequently out of position as a centre striker. He was rehabilitating from a foot ailment in Valencia at the time.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the winger is presently in Barcelona with his representation, with a physical scheduled for Monday. The Catalans and City are believed to have agreed on a fee of 55 million euros, with an additional 10 million in potential add-ons.

City could use any funds to complete the signing of a more typical centre forward.
