Ferguson magnificent 61* runs Sydney Thunder beat the Perth Scorchers at Manuka Oval by 7 wickets in BBL10.

The Thunder won the bat flip and opted to bowl first. Alex Ross misses out today for Thunder with Oliver Davies taking his place. Adam Milne is making his debut for Thunder. The Scorchers have brought in Jason Behrendorff back, replacing Joel Paris who got to bowl only over in the rained-off game against Melbourne Stars.

The Scorchers made 5-152 from their 20 overs after being sent in by the scorchers, with Mitch Marsh (52) and Cameron Bancroft (34) leading a late rescue mission.

The duo remained unbeaten, forging an unbeaten 61-run standoff 44 deliveries. The Scorchers scored 50 runs in the death, eventually reaching a total of 152.

In the Scorchers innings Josh Inglis was the first man out caught by debutant Oliver Davies off the bowling of Nathan McAndrew for 4.

Next to go was Joe Clarke who was run out by Alex Hales after some lazy running between the wickets.

Colin Munro threw away a hot start after he was caught by a double juggling act that ended with Adam Milne snaffling one off the bowling of Ben Cutting.

Ashton Turner launched a long six before he caught by McAndrew off Daniel Sams for 23.

Jhye Richardson was promoted but could only manage 5 before he was caught off the bowling of Tanveer Sangha by Usman Khawaja.

While chasing the target of 153 runs Sydney Thunder lost early wickets of Englishman Alex Hales duck bowled by Jason Behrendorff in the first over and Usman Khawaja 21 runs off 25 deliveries. Oliver Davies brilliant knock of 36, but was stumped off Fawad Ahmed.
