Pakistan winning their 4th match of the tournament has ensured them a place in the semi- finals, being the first team of the tournament to qualify so far.

Defeating Namibia in the Super- 12 game by 45 runs has now added a cherry on the cake for Pakistan fans.

Mohammad Rizwan 79(50), was awarded the man of the match. Pakistan had an opening stand of 113 runs in the match, being the first team of the tournament to get a 100-run partnership twice.

Pakistan after winning the toss wanted to testify their batting, as playing against associate
nation and almost ensuring a place into semis gave them a chance to play differently and test themselves.

Pakistan had a slow start in the match, but the likes of Rizwan and Babar Azam
were good enough to increase the scoring rate, and both of them ended their innings into the 70s. Babar Azam scored 70 runs off 49 balls. Mohammad Hafeez also played a cameo for Pakistan to score 32 off 16 balls.

With 189 runs on board, the result was now inevitable, the only thing to watch out for was how far will Namibia will go with their weapons and they did not disappoint throughout 20 overs of their batting.

Chasing 190 runs for an associate nation against one of the best teams of the
tournament would have been a miracle after losing a wicket in the second over, Namibia
displayed a great show of their batting. Stephan Baard and Crag Williams got the runs for
Namibia, Baard was unfortunate to get run-out but Williams kept going along with the skipper

Gerhard Erasmus. Erasmus got some clean hits with the bat but ended up his innings after
getting 15 runs off 10 balls. David Wiese, the star batter for Namibia did not disappoint as well and batted till the end with other Namibian batters. He scored 43 runs off 31 balls, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Namibia cricket did impress to display such a great show against a top-class team of the tournament. Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, and Shadab Khan picked 1 wicket
each from Pakistan.
