It’s the 18th Match of Vivo IPL 2021 played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

One win from four games is all Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have had so far in the IPL.

On good batting wickets like in Mumbai, the Royals failed to exploit the conditions and make the most of their batting-heavy unit.

The Knight Riders haven’t been able to put in a complete performance as yet, after a winning start at Chepauk, where they managed to overcome Sunrisers Hyderabad, just about, they’ve slipped to a hat-trick of losses.

Chris Morris got four wickets with the ball as the Rajasthan Royals restricted Kolkata Knight Riders to 133 for 9 after opting to bowl first in the IPL 2021 match No. 18 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Morris finished with figures of 4 for 23 – his best figures in the IPL as none of the KKR batters got going.

For Kolkata Knight Riders only Rahul Tripathi was amongst the runs with his 36-run innings.

Sanju Samson’s execution with his bowlers was spot-on as Mustafizur Rahman, Jaydev Unadkat and Chetan Sakariya built pressure in the Powerplay.

The results were soon to be seen as Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Sunil Narine and skipper Eoin Morgan fell in a haste.

Earlier, RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and had no hesitation in opting to bowl first against Eoin Morgan’s Kolkata Knight Riders in.
