New Zealand’s Spinner Ajaz Patel became only the third player in Test cricket history to record all 10 wickets in an innings.

Ajaz Patel of New Zealand achieved the rarest of feats by taking all ten wickets in India’s first innings in Mumbai. On Saturday, Ajaz Patel became only the third player in Test cricket history to achieve so.

He joins England’s Jim Laker and former Indian captain Anil Kumble as the only players in history to dismiss 10 batsmen in a single inning. Ajaz continued his outstanding bowling form from Day 1 when he took four wickets.

Ajaz troubled the Indian batsmen once more on the second day of the upcoming Test against India, spinning a web around them to claim the remaining six wickets.

Ajaz finished with a 10-wicket haul for 119 runs in 47.5 overs. The loss of the 10th wicket, with Mohammed Siraj skying the ball only to be caught at mid-on, will live in the minds of the New Zealand players forever.
